ABOUT GREEN MOUNTAIN NURSES HONOR GUARD
The Green Mountain Nurses Honor Guard
was founded in May of 2024
by
(a nurse from Cornwall, Vermont)
​
We are now composed of over thirty active and retired nurses who volunteer our time to pay tribute to Vermont nurses
who have passed away by
honoring the legacy of
care, compassion and sacrifice
of their life's work.
WHAT WE DO:
The Nurses Honor Guard attends
funerals, graveside services, celebration of life,
or
other life remembrances
of a fallen nurse
or
the nurse's bedside as they
approach end of life.
The Nurse Honor Guard is dressed in
traditional white nursing uniforms to honor the nurse
with a meaningful and beautiful tribute.
